Blackberry Vs iPhone

Hello internet!

I have been wondering for many years what is better? A Blackberry or a iPhone. The answer is simple!

It all comes down to personal choice, I can sway you either way so read my compact guide/comparison on both smartphones.

Blackberry

The Blackberry has been the main business smartphone for many years now. The main selling point till now was the email capabilities. The whole concept of being able to send and receive electronic mail on the go anywhere was mind boggling 5 years ago! But now times have changed. The Blackberry has changed from being a standalone business phone, to a compact social network machine (in my eyes anyway). Now every Blackberry comes equipped with BBM (Blackberry Messenger). BBM is a instant messenger only used by Blackberrys with a validated service plan called "Blackberry Services". What BBM allows the user to do is to talk to other Blackberry users, set their name, write personal messages and show what music they are listening to. It does even more too! This is what has been driving RIM (Research In Motion) forward with the release of the iPhone in 2008. This is now why the Blackberry is more common with the younger generation.

iPhone

The iPhone is still the dominant phone on the market, but it is decreasing. Due to the outbreak of younger Blackberry users the iPhone is becoming rare among teens. The point being mostly its price and vulnerability. I myself have gone from a iPhone to a Blackberry and can see why most people my age have! The sheer worry of dropping a £500 phone makes my want to never leave my house with it again. Besides this, Apple does have some limitations and legal things I don't believe in but I don't want to go into details about them. Don't get me wrong, iPhones are good but just not right for the younger generation. They will be more suited to business men and women who can spare the extra £200 for a more sophisticated and worthy phone that can do what Blackberrys can do but better.

In conclusion, Blackberrys are now more suited to the younger generation. iPhones are too expensive and are therefore suited to older and people who are earning money.

I hardly think there exists a comparison.
